Although I am a wedding and event photographer, I like photography in general and therefore I like to take pictures of variety of things in a variety of situations. So as I sat on my daughter's driveway in Waxahachie and started seeing firework explosions in the sky, how could I resist running into the house to grab my camera and mono pod? Here are some of the shots that I took over the rooftops across the street. This was part of the "Crape Myrtle Festival". Waxahachie touts itself as the 'crape myrtle capital'. I do not know about you, but fireworks like this are mesmerizing!
